Bring Me a Bib and a Shot of Insulin it’s Fall Pie Season!

FINALLY. I’ve been waiting all summer long for my favorite pie season of all to arrive and it’s finally here! After a couple of months of beaches and berry pies, it’s high season for a true CUSTARD CRAZY such as myself and I’ve got my fork and bib handy. Bring me your pumpkins, your sweet potatoes; your bean pies and your pecans. Your cinnamon and your nutmeg. Your evaporated milk and your butter. Bring me it ALL and then just tuck me into bed because I’m gonna need my rest to hit the pie road again the next day. Look for me out there folks. I’ll be the lady with six pies under her arms and a slightly rabid look in her eyes. Happy Custard Season everyone!
